What Is A Well ManagerŪ ?            Well Manager Control Unit

A Well ManagerŪ is a patented device that harvests the water from a well, at a rate equal to or less than, the yield of the well.  This allows the well to produce the maximum volume on a daily basis. The demand for water is then handled by a small storage tank sized for the peak and daily needs.  Once the peak demand is separated from the harvest of the well in this manner, one can see that the well can produce its maximum and the peak demands can be met, without running the well down (over-pumping) and without a large storage of water.  The Well ManagerŪ is flexible and adjustable so it can be set to harvest water at any rate and at any interval to meet even the lowest yields of marginal wells.

In years past, when people were taking water from a well with a bucket, even a slow yielding well was not too noticeable.  That is because of the rate of harvest...one bucket at a time.  As we became more automated and were able to harvest the water with pumps, then the pumps just kept getting bigger and faster.  Mother nature has not changed, so why not work with her.  Instead of drilling bigger and deeper for the water, why not make the best use of modern technology and simply take the water more efficiently.  The Well ManagerŪ does just that.  Here is a chart that shows the available water from wells based on daily volume at per minute yields.

Looking over this chart, one can see that "low yield" is an inaccurate label, if you you consider the potential of the well.  Thinking not in terms of the peak demand harvested directly from the well, but rather what the well is actually able to produce. The harvest of that production is managed to meet the true demand. Our ground water is probably not going to any get better, so we must do a better job of collecting and conserving this valuable resource. The typical measure of a "good well" is outdated and needs to be revised.  If a house has a well with 1 gallon per minute yield, it is thought to be "low yield" and marginal at best.  However a Well ManagerŪ  can provide a volume of over 1,400 gallons per day....enough water for most households and then some.  If we view wells from this new prospective, we will not have to drill wells expecting to need 6-10 gpm for a "Good Well".  In many cases a well with 2-3 gallons per minute could easily supply water to 4 or 5 houses.  If you look at the effort and cost of, say 4 houses with 4 wells, then compare it to 1 well and a Well ManagerŪ  delivering water to those 4 houses.  It just makes sense to be efficient and effective in how we access and use mother natures great resource. It's not Magic......It's Management!
